Helping leaders achieve

Achieve sustainable success

I bring clarity to the space where processes and people collide, so you can lead in a way that is regenerative, not depletive.

Marcie Shelton, Strategic Leadership Advisor
Hello

I am Marcie Shelton.

I help leaders move on from the places they are stuck. I go after the root cause, not the symptoms: the space where processes and people collide.

As a Strategic Leadership Advisor, I partner with leaders and teams in small and midsize businesses and nonprofits. My home base is the Greater Sacramento region, where I serve in person. I also work virtually across North America.

Is this you?

Leaders often come to me when their organization is at a crossroads.

Rapid growth

The business is growing faster than the way you work. You need to realign your leadership team before the cracks widen.

A cultural shift

Something fundamental is changing, and you want to bring people along with clarity and purpose instead of confusion.

Unsustainable success

What got you here is wearing you and your people out. You are ready to build something stronger for the future.

These turning points are opportunities. My work is to help you find the root cause, not just treat the symptoms.

My framework

The Learn. Do. Be. Leadership Loop™

Lasting change is a loop, not a lightning strike. We move through it together, at a pace your organization can sustain.

  1. 01

    Learn

Get clear on what actually matters: the root cause beneath the symptoms.

  2. 02

    Do

Act on what drives measurable progress, not what merely feels busy.

  3. 03

    Be

Become the leader your team and your board need you to be.

How sessions feel

Getting out of the office is great for the soul.

Local in-person sessions can happen over coffee or even outside: walking, hiking, or even paddleboarding or golfing. Routine conversations can happen on Zoom, with in-person connection woven in along the way.
